John Dumelo can be seen dancing with Lydia Alhassan, his political rival who beat him for the Ayawaso West Wougon seat in the 2020 parliamentary elections, in a video that is becoming viral online.
Remember that Lydia Alhassan of the NPP defeated the politician and actor by 37,778 votes to 39,851 votes in the 2020 elections. Despite their ferocious animosity, the two MPs could be seen dancing joyfully at an event in a video that was posted online.
In response to the video, people on the internet complimented the two leaders for embracing peace and togetherness and providing a good example of leadership.
The two candidates will compete again for the constituency seat in the elections of 2024.
