It is not your responsibility to take care of your parents, Don’t think about them; ” – Oboy Siki claims

The concept of duty evolves significantly as we progress through life. While it is true that our parents play an important part in molding our early years, the idea that one’s growth and success are closely related to their parent’s expectations is one that should be reconsidered.

Kumawood actor Oboy Siki made a shocking statement while appearing as a guest on the Rash Hour Show, causing a big controversy on social media in the last few hours. He has stated unequivocally that it is not one’s job to consider their parents.

On today’s episode of the show, the controversial screen god stated that it is not necessary to take care of your parents because once they give birth to you, their obligation expires and you are now responsible for them.

He went on to say that anyone who thinks or wishes to care for their parents is a fool, since he sees no value in anyone doing so.

He once again established and recommended that the young men travel outside the country as soon as possible if their financial preparation meets the travel requirements to a foreign land. Oboy Siki encouraged the young men to migrate in search of greener pastures and to enjoy life alone.

It is critical to understand that personal growth and fulfillment are not synonymous with complying with parental expectations.

Breaking free from the assumption that one’s purpose is defined only by what their parents envisage enables the discovery of true aspirations, interests, and strengths.

Independence does not diminish the value of family; rather, it allows individuals to forge their own paths while preserving respectful communication and mutual understanding. Individuals can shape their own future by focusing on self-discovery, personal progress, and open discussion.
