The artist said that as a Junior High School student, he represented his school in short sprints and was frequently among the top finishers in races.
“When I was a student, I had an interest in athletics,” Samini remarked on Angel FM. Those who knew me when I was at Holy Family in Mataheko were aware of my athletic abilities. Unfortunately, because my Senior High School was brand new, I was unable to tour.
“I was frequently competing in 100, 200, and 4×100 races.” I was frequently among the finishing athletes, and 9 times out of 10, I will win. “Right after JHS, I made the Greater Accra shortlist for 100 meters,” he explained.
“If any of my family members take up athletics, they will be witnesses to this,” he continued.
