“I used 3 cedis loan from my mother to start my first company”- millionaire CEO Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong
Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, the Jospong Group of Companies’ Founder and Executive Chairman, has made a startling revelation regarding his humble origins as a successful entrepreneur.
He disclosed how he leveraged a GHC3 loan from his mother to become one of Africa’s top business moguls during a speech at the University of Health and Allied Sciences.
After his second cycle education, Jospong was forced to handle his mother’s bookshop, he told the audience. According to the Zoomlion CEO, in 1995, he jumped at the chance to set up a printing press to satisfy demand.
This resulted in the establishment of the Jospong Printing Press, which he funded with a loan of GHC3.00.
Dr. Siaw successfully handled the printing press with tenacity, determination, and the guidance of God, and has since launched other firms, earning him the title of “serial entrepreneur.”
