Bolanle Ninalowo, a popular Nollywood actor, has responded to charges that adultery caused his marriage to dissolve.

Last week, the actor announced the dissolution of his 18-year marriage to Bunmi, with whom he has two children.

Their decision to divorce follows a marriage breakdown a few years ago, which resulted in a brief separation. They did, however, reconcile and rejoin.

Following his recent marriage update, several netizens unearthed an old interview tape in which he revealed that one of the reasons his marriage failed was because he cheated on his wife.

In response to these charges, Ninalowo clarified that the viral video was from six years ago, implying that it was irrelevant to the current situation.

In the interview, the 43-year-old actor stated that he was discussing the reason for their marital crisis several years ago.
