Berthold Kobby Winkler Ackon, also known as Wode Maya, is a popular YouTuber from Ghana who makes thousands of dollars from his channel. He has admitted that he only spent $1000 on his wedding.
In his 1000th YouTube video, which was prepared especially for his wedding to his longtime Kenyan love, Trudy, Wode Maya, revealed this fact.
Wode Maya, a real minimalist, claimed that he didn’t pay for anything else besides the plane tickets his brothers needed to travel to Kenya for the wedding.
“The money that I spent on this entire wedding was just buying tickets for them (my brothers) from Accra to Kenya, that’s it. I think we spent a $1000 dollars o this wedding, he said in the video.
They didn’t have to pay for anything because of the generosity of their fans, his wife Trudy continued.
“God just sent people our way to make this happen, like where we are currently at the Mwale Medical and Technology City (MMTC), they hosted our families and we are so grateful,” Trudy added.
