Poverty, said Florence Obinim, darkened her skin. She says she can now afford a nice body cream she couldn’t afford then, and that is the reason for her fair skin now.
“…someone has chocolate skin, but she is poor and cannot afford good cream to make her skin glow. Why should it be a concern now that she has money to buy decent skincare creams?” Florence asked.
In an interview, she begged Ghanaians to stop criticizing her new look, saying it was God’s doing.
