“I grew up in poverty but now work with the United States Air Force, where I found hope and happiness”- Man shares his story
As you read this true account, one of the questions that come to mind is how this man made it to the United States and even got the chance and privilege to serve in their military services. It is definitely accurate that all of the information about him being an African and becoming an Airman in the American Air Force can be found on his Facebook page.
His name is Kofi Douhadji, and he is currently residing in the United States of America. He used his Facebook page to explain how a youngster from a disadvantaged part of Togo might end up in the United States of America, where he works as an Airman.
When telling his narrative, Kofi Douhadji began by saying, “In Togo, West Africa, a boy was born into poverty. Despite growing up in less-than-ideal circumstances, he believed that if he worked hard enough, he could achieve his aspirations.”
He also stated that he is from Afagnan, a small town in Togo and that he was able to travel to the United States.
In his final chapter, he stated that anyone reading his life narrative should not consider it to be about him, but rather about themselves and how they might achieve their goals as well.
