“I get revelations from God but can’t share them for fear of being insulted – Ofori Amponsah
Ofori Amponsah, a Ghanaian musician, has recently revealed that he receives divine revelations from God. However, he keeps them to himself because he is afraid of criticism. Instead, he infuses these revelations into his music.
In his song “Hello Hello,” Ofori Amponsah included “prophecies” from his divine revelations. He claims that he predicted the Ukraine/Russian conflict and the Covid-19 pandemic. He released this song in 2005, and today, his predictions have come true.
Ofori Amponsah claims that he has always had a strong belief in God, even when he was producing love songs. However, when he announced that he had been called by God to be a pastor, many people had difficulty accepting his new position. After a few years, he reversed course and returned to secular music with the release of “Alewa.”
Ofori Amponsah believes that something is not necessarily “worldly” just because it is not explicitly Christian. He points to the romantic words in the Song of Solomon as an example. He also believes that talent is a gift from God, and if you don’t have it, it won’t work.
