Kennedy Osei, the Managing Director of Despite Media, has elaborated on his reasons for clearing his law examinations by any means necessary. Despite the obstacles, he did it.
The son of a millionaire named Osei Kwame Despite disclosed, on the occasion of his graduation party on Sunday, November 13, 2022, that his path to become a lawyer in Ghana was not easy.
According to him, a few of his friends informed him face-to-face that it was going to be a significant news headline because of his history if he did not pass the exam and graduate as a lawyer in Ghana.
The reason for this was due to the fact that he came from a wealthy family. If, on the other hand, he was successful in passing, then it was of little consequence.
Kennedy claimed that these remarks of his friends always rang in his head, and it became heavy on him when he failed two of his papers in the first year, notably the tests on company law.
He disclosed that his poor performance in company law had a profound effect on him because he had a solid understanding of the subject even before he enrolled in law school; as a result, he was inspired to put in a lot of effort in his studies and ultimately graduated with flying colors.
The husband and father of two also mentioned that his father, Dr. Osei Kwame Despite, along with two of his friends from law school, as well as his adorably supportive wife Tracy, were very encouraging to him throughout this journey. They made sure that victory and success were the only things on his mind.
