“I don’t do Galamsey, I’m a prost!tute”- Nigerian Lady arrested among Galamsey operators plead (watch video)
A Nigerian Lady said that “galamsey,” which means illegal mining, was used to get her to become a prostitute.
The woman has spoken out after the National Security detained a number of foreign nationals to stop the “galamsey” threat.
She says that she was brought to the U.S. from Nigeria with the promise of working at and running the shop of her alleged employer.
However, things did not go as planned when she landed in Ghana. The agent who brought her to Ghana had actually been deceiving her the entire time.
She said that when she got to Ghana, she had her hair cut all over, even in her private parts, and that she was officially made a prostitute.
The Nigerian woman said that she works as a prostitute to make ends meet, which is different from the hundreds of people from other countries who were arrested for taking part in galamsey.
So, she was sleeping at one of these places when the galamsey operators and her were both caught.
