Matilda Asare, a Kumawood actor, has disclosed in a Facebook post that she regrets voting for the New Patriotic Party.
In the run-up to the 2016 elections, the actress and other celebrities campaigned heavily for the NPP, led by President Nana Akuffo Addo and his vice, Dr Bawumia.
Their campaign helped the NPP’s election victory in 2016 and helped to keep them in power following the 2020 elections.
However, things are not going as planned, forcing some of them to speak out against some of the government’s actions in the country.
A message regarding the current government was discovered on social media.
The Kumawood actress was among those who left comments on the post.
