How Some Ghanaians reacted to Oswald’s lavish Our day party and how the resources could have helped children in need.
Some Ghanaians are enraged by the lavish attention lavished on Oswald, a wealthy child, while many impoverished schoolchildren suffer.
According to some Ghanaians, the needs of the people must be addressed, particularly the impoverished rural school children who require a desk.
Oswald has received gifts from FCMG businesses, an iPad Pro from Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, and a free internet connection from Vodafone Ghana.
Not to mention Dolait Ghana, KFC Ghana, Pizza King, Burger King, MTN Ghana, among others, showing Oswald crazy love at the Christ Ambassadors School of Excellence (CASE).
Oswald went to bed with few demands. Ghana was at his feet. A long list of things becomes a long list of brands.
While many applaud these businesses’ and brands’ initiatives, others urge a refocus and a transfer of emphasis to people who really need help.
Many believe Oswald hails from a wealthy family with an extra iPad. He also attends the Christ Ambassadors School of Excellence (CASE), which is arguably Accra’s finest school.
Clearly, he doesn’t need it all. Impoverished youngsters in Ghana’s rural regions and poor communities that have to rush home when it rains need them. They use rocks and stones as a desk and have never seen or touched a computer mouse.
Why don’t you assist these folks instead of concentrating on Oswald and showering him with love?
Many Ghanaians have expressed these worries. What do you think?
No offense, but can everyone supporting OSWALD also help me promote “FIX GES” with the same vigor? Can I get all the companies please?
