“God told me to fake getting shot, so I did it”- Shatta wale reveals after his release

Dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah, better known as Shatta Wale, claims he committed what led to his arrest under the instruction of God.

On October 18th, Shatta Wale staged a gun attack on himself after a pastor disclosed a doom prophecy predicting the artiste will be shot on that day.

He was apprehended on Tuesday after turning himself to the police. He was remanded in prison and freed on October 26 after the court granted him Ghc 100,000 bail.

The artist has now apologized to his many fans and everyone who felt horrible about his arrest.

Shatta Wale stated in a Facebook post apologizing to Ghanaians that he had to provide the sacrifice because God commanded him to.

He begged pardon and urged his fans to buy his next GOG album.
