It would be fair to tag the popular Nigerian Billionaire, Cosmos Maduka as a stingy man after you watch his latest speech where he gave an account of how he raised his kids.
According to the moneyed businessman who constantly recounts his days of poverty, his 5 kids grew up without even television in the house though he had all the money and to him, it was part of the training of his kids.
Cosmos Maduka said even his phone was a gift from his wife because he didn’t want to remove a dime to purchase it. Sometimes his children mock him for being stingy but, he knows he came from a poor home before making it to the top, hence his behavior.
He also revealed how he denied his children the chance to drive to school when they were in the university but his employees’ kids drove – and he gave a hilarious reason for that.
Cosmos Maduka is the president of the Coscharis Group, an indigenous conglomerate with diverse interests in manufacturing, ICT, Petrochemical, Auto care, and Auto Components.
Considering how rich he is, many people have reacted negatively. Some said having him as a dad would be very disastrous.
