Captain Smart Reported Missing After He Was Granted Bail, TV3 Launch Searches for Their Worker As National Security Refuses to Disclose His Location.
Media General, the parent firm of TV3 and Onua TV, announced Captain Smart missing just 12 hours after he was apprehended by National Security.
Captain Smart was carried away in a pick-up vehicle yesterday after an Accra Circuit court granted him Ghc50,000 bail.
Last night, TV3 news broadcast a video showing the well-known Ghanaian journalist sleeping on a mattress on the prison floor while being held by National Security.
There was no official document produced to explain why Captain Smart was re-arrested after the court granted him bail.
The outspoken media personality is still not released and according to a post made by Tv3 Ghana, Captain Smart is nowhere to be found.
“OnuaTV/Fm’s morning show host Blessed Godsbrain Smart, popularly known as Captain Smart. is nowhere to be found barely 12 hours after he was taken into National Security,” the post read.
They also launched a campaign to force the National Security to free Captain Smart. A Hashtag has been generated and social media users urged to make it go viral to force the laws to work.
