Captain Fantastic: Andre Ayew buys his own ticket, flies to Kumasi to motivate Ghana players against Nigeria
Andre Ayew has arrived in Kumasi to energize the Black Stars ahead of their vital World Cup Playoff match against Nigeria.
Because of his red card, he received in Ghana’s AFCON 2021 defeat to Comoros, the captain of the team is suspended for the match.
Despite his suspension, he visited Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium, the game’s venue, to speak with the players.
Andre Dede Ayew went up to speak to the players at the team’s final training session at the stadium about how important the game is to Ghanaians.

Denis Odoi will make his first appearance for Ghana, his mother’s home country, after moving from Belgium just a few months ago.
On Friday night, he is anticipated to start at right-back ahead of Andy Yiadom.
