Renowned Ghanaian gospel singer, Brother Sammy has stated that one item he can never overlook in life is the slap he got from his colleague Cecilia Marfo many months ago at a worship concert.
The 2017 accident occurred at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.
Cecilia Marfo requested Brother Sammy to join her concert, but the he could not reach the stage and was slapped heavily by his host.
Brother Sammy narrates that he had entered the grounds where the program was being performed and suddenly Cecilia Marfo noticed him. She leapt from the stage and began rebuking him claiming he had an evil spirit.
To apparently expel the bad spirit, Cecilia Marfo turned her back on Brother Sammy, pulled the chain from his neck, and slapped him multiple times in clear view of everybody.
speaking in an interview on Okay FM’s“Best Entertainment” Brother Sammy stated;
”I have forgiven her of all her sins but I can’t forget because whenever I hear her song or meet at a programme, I remember the incident. I’m not sure I will ever forget it.”
The singer claims Cecilia Marfo “killed” his career through his public act, and that she has a project to ruin the careers of gospel musicians.
