“Birthday celebrations and its photoshoots are inspired by Satan” – Pastor Elvis Agyemang claims (Video)

A video starring Grace Mountain Ministry founder Pastor Elvis Agyemang has elicited strong emotions.

In the video, the pastor criticizes the tradition of doing photoshoots to honor birthdays, claiming that it is influenced by Satan.

Pastor Agyemang, who is well-known for his church’s famed Alpha Hour prayer session, believes that many young people place too much emphasis on the surface features of birthdays at the expense of their spiritual meaning.

Pastor Elvis Agyemang shares his displeasure with those who participate in the birthday photography craze in the viral video that catapulted him into the social media spotlight.

He claims that those who indulge in this activity are essentially following worldly fads, which he regards as frivolous in the grand scheme of things.

“You’re a liar. You’re following the fashions of the world. “If you understand the spiritual significance of birthdays, you will not be taking new pictures for your birthday,” the preacher declares.

Pastor Agyemang goes on to say that Satan has a plan to change people’s lives. He believes that shooting new images each year and sharing them with friends to garner good wishes is part of the devil’s plot.

He believes that focusing solely on age increases during birthdays brings nothing to one’s spiritual growth or glory.

“All the devil wants is for your age to become older. So all you’re doing is growing in numbers but not in glory. “You’re just adding up numbers,” he claims.

The pastor recommends that birthday celebrants pray and seek God’s guidance on how to celebrate their birthdays in a way that is consistent with spiritual ideals and does not unknowingly advance Satan’s purpose.

“Do you know where we make destiny on birthdays?” That every birthday necessitates a visit to an altar?” Pastor Elvis Agyemang inquires, highlighting the spiritual value of birthdays.

However, the public’s reaction to his remarks has been divided. Many people disagree with him and accuse him of having double standards.

They contend that if he genuinely believes in abstaining from practices associated with Satan, he should stop using social media to broadcast his sermons and Alpha Hour prayer sessions, which have also come under fire for being subject to bad influences from some other religious figures.

In essence, Pastor Elvis Agyemang’s opinions on birthday photoshoots have sparked a debate regarding the junction of religious and modern behaviors, with some supporting and others opposing his approach.
