Pictures of seasoned actor Kingsley Kofi Kyeremateng, also known as Ajos, have filled Ghanaians’ minds with sentimental boyhood memories.
Since time immemorial, the performer and comic renowned for his amusing part in the Akan Drama series has stuck out for his emotive and unique style.
Gifty Anti reminded us of our fashion savior from the past with good spirit and remembrance.
According to reports, Ajos, 74, is one of Ghana’s most famous entertainers, having worked alongside the late Santo and Abusuapin Judas.
These veterans established the tone for the Agya Koo period prior to our new school humor led by Clemento Suarez and OB Amponsah.
Gifty Anti relived the memories by sharing pictures of Ajos with the caption:
“Before all others, there was Ajos.”
He was dressed in his normal bizarre mix of materials and colors.
The Akan Drama actor wore a white two-piece uniform with a black undershirt and a big sparkling gold chain.
Another image showed a heavy burgundy cloak, slewed overall black ensembles, and matching boots. Ajos stood in a very emotional posture, his tunic-styled pants slipped into a pair of calf-high cowboy boots and his shirt fastened by a highly embroidered waistcoat.
