The day is full of both good and terrible news for people. But today’s news was not so positive, as we awoke to learn that a female police officer had been shot to death. Her assailants were unidentified in Bawku. The police have stated that a female officer of the Paga unit was shot and killed in Bawku, Upper East Region.
The announcement has sparked such uproar in the neighborhood that a police officer has been shot. We can imagine the community’s terror and worry right now. However, the authorities are currently investigating this matter and will bring all of the victims to justice. So the community should remain put since the police will not allow the victims to go free.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the grieving family of this female police officer. May her soul rest in peace for she gave her life to serve her nation.
