‘All my enemies have now turned to fans’ – Wendy Shay subtly jabs Afia Schwarzenegger
Wendy Shay, a Ghanaian musician, has made yet another divisive statement intended for those who do not appreciate her music or personality.
The ‘Uber Driver’ singer said in a Tweet Monday that all of her critics who body-shamed verbally attacked, and cyberbullied her have grown to love her and become her devoted followers.
Some quick thinkers deduced that Wendy Shay, who is presently in New York promoting her new single, Heat, was making a thinly veiled allusion to comedienne Afia Schwarzenegger, after seeing the post.
This came after Afia posted a video on her Instagram profile of herself doing a cover of the song.
The Ghana Police Service has been detaining rebellious people on a regular basis, and the extradition was in response.
It would not be the first time Wendy Shay retaliated in an ambiguous manner against Afia Schwarzenegger after the latter criticized her at the start of her music career at RuffTown Records following the death of dancehall artist Ebony Reigns.
Afia Schwarzenegger danced to Wendy Shay’s performance during the introduction of the Ghana Music Awards UK a few months ago, which was the first time a similar scenario occurred.
Afia came forward after Wendy published a similar post, stating she was inebriated and did not realize Wendy was performing.
