Akwasi Boadi, known as Akrobeto in the showbiz industry has revealed that he believes Dumsor was part of the main reason why the Ghanaian Movie industry has collapsed.
According to him on united showbiz hosted by Nana Ama Mcbrown, the unstable power between 2013 – 2016 decreased the love of Ghanaians to watch movies and therefore it affected sales and patronage of the movies they produced.
“Dumsor was a big problem to our work. It was the beginning of our owoes because we weren’t able to work as we used to do.”
“People could not even watch movies they buy and we weren’t able to churn out more content for our viewers,” he said.
