Abena Korkor, a former TV personality who is now a health campaigner, has disclosed how she slept with a 13-year-old guy when she was only 5-6 years old.
Abena Korkor, who was seeking to figure out the cause of her mental illness, told Deloris Frimpong Manso in an interview on the Delay program that she was certain none of her family members had it.
This is due to the fact that Bipolar disorder is thought to be inherited.
She went on to say that whenever she has a psychotic episode, she gets sexually hyperactive, and as a result, she either talks about sex a lot or engages in it.
she said;
” I can’t say for a fact that having sex at age 6 brought about my mental illness. What I know is, I’ve never seen myself as one who fits in and when I was in Tertiary, I felt within my system that all wasn’t well. So I immediately went to the hospital and when they couldn’t treat me, I was sent to the Accra Psychiatric hospital where I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder.”.
