Tears of Joy: Nigerian Lady Who Is Homeless in Ghana Cries As She Receives GHC30,000 Cash Gift (Video)
SVTV Africa Foundation, a Ghana-based charitable organization sponsored by SVTV Africa, has awarded GHc30,000 (N1,943,905.46) to Glory, a Nigerian lady residing in Ghana.
Glory told SVTV Africa’s DJ Nyaami on January 13 that she was lured to Ghana by a Nigerian preacher to work as a maid for GHc150 (10,000) per month.
Due to the workload, she resigned from the job after just two weeks of living at the man’s house. Glory became homeless after losing her job and having to sleep on the streets of Accra.
She gave her phone number for financial aid during the conversation with DJ Nyaami. People were kind, and donations totaled GHc30,000 (1,943,905.46).
Glory, who sells yams for a living, has opted to put the money back into her company. She conveyed her thanks for the money while crying happy tears after getting it.
