All you need to know about Valentine Michael Manson, the son of cult leader Charles Manson
Who is Valentine Michael Manson?
Valentine Michael Manson was born on April 15, 1968, in California, USA, and is most known as the son of cult leader Charles Manson, who is in charge of “The Manson family.”
Valentine Michael Mason, also known as Michael Brunner, was the son of serial murderer Charles Manson.
Charles Manson was engaged in a number of murder cases and was frequently the perpetrator. He was also the patriarch of the Mason family, which was notorious for a string of murders.
Many of the members, including Michael’s mother, Mary Brunner, were apprehended following a succession of killings. He changed his name to Michael Brunner in order to distance himself from his father’s bad name.
Valentine Michael Manson’s family (father, mother, and siblings)
Charles Manson, Valentine’s father, was a criminal who was regularly imprisoned for many crimes. He arrived in San Francisco, California, immediately after his release from prison and began begging when he couldn’t find a job.
He met Valentine’s mother, library assistant Mary Brunner, during this period, and they started living together.
After a while, Charles persuaded Mary that they should welcome others to their family, and they set out on a road trip across California, inviting mostly young women who were drawn to the hippie lifestyle and communal living.
The family traveled across the United States, Southwest, and she became pregnant.
When Valentine Michael Manson was born, the family was sleeping in a run-down home in Topanga Canyon, due to Charles’ dislike of any of his “family” members going to hospitals.
When he was just a few weeks old, police spotted his mother and a group of unclad ‘family members’ lying in a ditch inside a bus; they were all jailed but subsequently freed. Valentine was also discovered in awful conditions there, and the authorities took him away, accusing his mother of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
Charles Manson Jr., Charles Manson’s eldest son, allegedly killed himself by shooting. Charles Manson’s second son (Charles Luther Manson), spent his whole life trying to avoid his father’s shadow and never wanted to be in the public glare. He would have been in his fifties today, but he died in 2007, according to some reports.
The Mason Family Murders
Charles Mason started to think that he was a reincarnation of Christ, professing a variety of self-serving beliefs and doctrines in the process. Many of his admirers fell for his charm since he was skilled at persuasion and regularly used sex to recruit or get favors.
The Manson Family, which included Manson and his young, devoted followers, is thought to have committed 35 murders. Many of the cases were never tried because of a lack of evidence.
Manson recruited a group of his most devoted Family members in August 1969 to carry out a massacre among Hollywood’s elite.
The first of Manson’s victims were slain at the house Polanski had rented in Benedict Canyon, just north of Beverly Hills. Polanski was overseas shooting a film in London at the time of the murder, and the four victims had just returned home for supper.
While Manson did not participate in the actual killings, he sent four of his most devoted followers to the address — Charles Watson, Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkel, and Linda Kasabian — and told them to kill everyone.
The Polanski family was specifically targeted because it represented the showbiz world’s rejection of Manson.
