A beautiful video of two lesbians (one a soldier, the other a civilian) who purportedly got married recently has gone viral.

Because homosexuality is illegal in Ghana and homosexuals are widely hated, news of the lesbian couple getting married has been making the rounds.

The lesbians are seen enjoying an intimate time in a restroom in the footage. Both are fully unclad and cuddling. They are seen passionately kissing and smooching each other before having sexual pleasure in other ways.

The emotions on their faces indicate that they are aware that a video is being taken. They exchange a passionate look and giggle in front of the camera.

Following their alleged marriage, the soldier, who is rumored to have played the part of the man in the relationship, has been facing disciplinary processes from the Ghana Armed Forces.

The couple is said to have vanished into thin air in order to avoid public scrutiny brought on by the media.

Meanwhile, Rachel Appoh, a former deputy minister of Gender and Children Protection, urges the Ghana Armed Forces to punish the officer involved harshly.

Rachel Appoh criticised the officer’s behavior and requested the GAF to deal with her in a post on her social media accounts.

“It is most unfortunate that this repulsive act would come from Ghana’s military, which has gained such international acclaim and pedigree for its strict adherence to discipline in all aspects of its operations.”

“We implore the Military High Command to take decisive action to rid the GAF of the collective shame that this single act of indiscretion has caused.”

Rachel Appoh, who claims to have investigated the incident, has revealed more details regarding the event.

“Sources say the event happened last Saturday at an undisclosed rented apartment in Takoradi, Western Region, in the presence of the ‘couples’ parents,” she said.

She described the army officer’s actions as an affront to Ghanaian society’s standards and values.

“However, the Office unequivocally condemns this act and strongly advises young people not to copy such immoral acts, regardless of who is committing them.”

“The Office wishes to emphasize that the fact that the individual involved in the instant act is a military officer does not imply that her behavior is acceptable in the country.”
