“I had to leave my village to Accra to make a living because there was nothing there for me” – Fella Makafui
Ghanaian actress and wife of AMG Medikal, Fella Makufui also had no smooth start just like his husband as she also faced a lot before making it.
Fella in a documentary has narrated how her rise to the top has not been easy but thanks to God and some critical decisions, she is now the Fella we all know.
according to her, she was born and raised in a small village in the Volta Region and after completing high school, she made the biggest decision in the changed her life.
after completing Kpando Senior High School, Fella Makafui decided to leave her small village and move to Accra to make a living as she believed coming to Accra will help her achieve her dreams of becoming a refined and famous actress.
“I decided to come to Accra to make a living because I knew there was nothing for me in my small village in the Volta Region,” she said.
according to her, she met a friend when she moved to Accra and it was through that friend she got introduced to the producer of the series that brought her to the limelight, YOLO.
Her role as a bread seller in the Yolo series was not what she wanted but she grasped it, made the best out of it, worn the hearts of Ghanaians and it has made her who she is today.
