Simphiwe, a 24-year-old lady , passed away after allegedly being “slapped” by her father.
The incident happened on Saturday night in Mpumalanga, South Africa, and the suspect, the deceased’s father, has been taken into custody by the police.
On that fateful day, the 58-year-old dad and his daughter reportedly got into a heated dispute that turned physical.
During the fight, the father reportedly gave his daughter a hard “slap,” and she passed out right away.
The stunning young woman had already passed away when the police and paramedics arrived on the scene.
The father, has been placed on remand in custody until his formal bail application hearing on September 19 in court.
In response to the incident, Lieutenant General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela, the Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, expressed his sadness at the woman’s passing and wished things had gone differently.
