“Your husband is the head of the house. Seek permission before you spend your own money” – Female pastor tells wives
Prophetess Patience Obi, a woman of God in Nigeria, has advised women to submit whatever money they make to their husbands before spending it, citing biblical principles.
According to her, the husband is the head of the family and should be the one who decides how the wife’s money should be spent, not the wife’s.
She asserted that if a woman does not submit to her husband, her prayers will be heard. ”Your money should be submitted to your husband before you spend a dime out of it. Yes, you heard me right. Your money belongs to both of you and he has the authority, full authority, over the money,” she said.
Patience stressed that husbands also have “full authority” to tell their wives “how to spend their money and what to do with it.”
“Remember he is the head of the home. You are to submit to him in everything including ”My money”. Thought It is ”our money” but they must have control over the money,” she finally said.
