Popular Ghanaian Transgender Ohemartin Embarrassed As Airport Staff Forces Him To Take Off Wig Before Checking In
Hughes Kwame Martin, better known as Ohemartin, is a well-known Ghanaian transgender.
He is male and reportedly has a male name on his passport, but he dresses and has strikingly female features.
According to a witness at a recent embarrassing incident at the airport, officials asked him to remove his wig before proceeding with check-in procedures.
He was allegedly instructed to do so in order to match his passport, which has a male name.
When the incident occurred, Ohemartin was on his way to South Africa.
“He was on an SAA flight to Joburg yesterday and immigration gave him the embarrassment of his life, which I felt was wrong. They made him remove his wig oooooh. “Before taking his biometrics, stating he is a man in his passport and not a woman,” the source said.
Because he has legitimately female features that were not acquired through surgery, the transgender person has many supporters among Ghanaians.
His photos show he has more feminine features than some ladies, and they’re all-natural.
