Thousands of people have liked and shared TikTok videos that use Alomo Gyata as the background music. Aligata was surprised by the sudden popularity of his song.
When Aligata realized his song was going viral, he contacted the original singer, Kwasi Adu. In an interview with Metro TV, Aligata said he had no idea his song would become so popular. He had recorded many other songs before, but this one was different.
When Aligata contacted Adu Kwasi, the original singer was happy to hear that something good was happening with his song. He didn’t mind that Aligata had remixed it. Adu Kwasi blessed Aligata and wished him well.
