“Yaw Tog will soon be bigger than Sarkodie and Stonebwoy with good management” – Ruthy claims (Video)
Stonebwoy claimed categorically in 2019 that it will take Ghana more than 40 years to get a trio like himself, Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, and other top Ghana musicians.
During his appearance at the 2019 MTN 4Syte Music Video Awards, Stonebwoy made this drunken prophecy.
However, given the sudden emergence of Kumerican Yaw Tog, who is around eighteen years old, Stonebwoy’s sly prophecy has failed to materialize.
As such, Yaw Tog’s rapid rise in our music industry, including his ability to cross boundaries, defies rational minds.
His “sore” remix with Stormzy just surpassed one million views on YouTube in less than two days. Furthermore, BET International has called Yaw Tog the “next big thing” in music.
And it is because of Yaw Tog’s enviable fame and success that Nhyira FM’s Ruthy believes he will be bigger than Sarkodie and Stonebwoy with the right management.
However according to Ruthy, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy received their first BET awards in their 30s; thus, given Yaw Tog’s age, he will reach greater heights if his management does it correctly.
