The Accra International Conference Center was a hive of activity last night and into the early hours of Sunday, June 27th, 2021, for the just-completed 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Award.
This year marks the 22nd edition of the scheme since its commencement. The VGMA is the most important awards show in the entertainment sector, and many people look forward to it.
It was a two-day event, with the industry awards taking place the day before the major awards night.
Celebrities come out to show off what they have in their closets and how gorgeous they can be at the VGMA. As is customary, many celebrities are left wanting if and when the outfits they choose land them in the worst fashion mistake category.
This year was no exception, and as expected, several of our celebrities did not get their outfits right. Many of them have had a fashion faux pas, and we would be damned if we did not bring it up.
Andy Dosty, host of Hitz FM’s mid-morning show, is first on our list. We would not say what the former artist wore was completely inappropriate for the occasion, but we imagine he was in too much of a rush to zip up.
It is easy to see in the images that his balls may have been freely displayed if it had not been for luck. Andy looked sharp in a navy blue suit with white slacks, a white shirt, and a red bow tie. You might want to look under his white jeans to see what is going on.

Then there is AJ Poundz, a TV and radio personality who is dressed in a silky curry jumpsuit that exposes her entire chest. We believe she could have done better because what is going on up there is not exactly breathtaking, and given how loud she is and her willingness to pontificate on any subject, we had high expectations of her.
Kuami Eugene, on the other hand, has done an outstanding job of stepping up his fashion game. He was indiscriminately trashed all the time when he initially came to prominence, just because of his sense of style. He claimed that he was so focused on his talent and job that he was unconcerned about what others thought of his clothing.
It took him a bit to figure it out and actually step up, but every now and then he pulls a fast one on us, like this dollar bill jacket that we are still trying to figure out.
