After a judge ordered an agency that contracted her to work in Saudi Arabia to pay her a substantial settlement after her kidney was removed without her consent, a woman’s brush with tragedy will have her smiling all the way to the bank.
According to internet reports, Judith Nakintu mysteriously discovered that her kidney had been diabolically taken when she worked in Jeddah.
Nankintu’s former employer, Saad Dhafer, said she was injured in an accident, and Nile Treasure Gate, the labor export company that flew her to Jeddah, said they believed him.
The company’s lawyer stated that after learning of the accident, they began legal steps to assist her in receiving compensation.
Judith was said to have been involved in an accident that killed two of her employer’s children, according to documents disclosed, including a traffic report.
However, it was discovered after she arrived in Uganda that one of her kidneys had been removed under mysterious circumstances.
Nile Treasure Gate stated that they had no idea how Judith lost her kidney and that they had written to the King Fahad Hospital where she was treated following the accident but had not gotten a response.
“We hope that our clients will need to go to court, and we trust that justice will be served,” said the firm’s lawyer.
“On her behalf, a case was brought, and the court found in her favor. “After legal fees, the 30th January judgment ordered Dhafer to pay her KSh 8.7 million (31,825,778.15),” the lawyer added.
The lawyer representing Judith’s family, on the other hand, disputed Nile Treasure Gate’s explanation, claiming that the company was out to deceive them.
“We’ll leave the investigation to the authorities,” he told NTV Uganda, “and if necessary, we’ll let them travel to Saudi Arabia to figure out what happened.”
