Controversial reggae-dancehall artist Shatta Wale has released a diss track aimed at Ola Michael, following critical comments made by the presenter on the show United Showbiz.
Ola Michael questioned Shatta Wale’s eligibility for a diplomatic passport, citing the artist’s alleged insults towards colleagues and industry veterans.
Guest Mr. Logic disagreed with Michael’s statement, demanding an apology for disrespecting Shatta Wale on national television.
The controversy began when former Ghanaian ambassador Anne Sophie Avé suggested that musicians like Sarkodie, Black Sherif, Stonebwoy, and Shatta Wale should be granted diplomatic passports for their contributions to promoting Ghana.
Shatta Wale responded with a song titled “Diss Side,” including lyrics insulting Ola Michael.
Some of the lyrics in the song go by; “I know say you be foolish man, check for the mirror wos3 aponkye, Ola you be f00lish man”
