What I Ordered Vs What I Got – Woman In Tears After Ordering A Corset-style Gown
A woman from the United States, who goes by the handle imunique doeei, took to TikTok to explain how she asked a seamstress to make a bespoke dress for her for an upcoming wedding.
While having a gown made to your specifications ensures that no one else will be wearing the same outfit, the woman’s plan didn’t quite work out.
Taking to TikTok, the woman from the United States, who goes by the handle imunique doeei, shared a photo of the flattering dress she originally showed the dressmaker as inspiration.
The figure-hugging red and fresh-colored gown had a stylish corset-style top that flowed into a long skirt with a knee slit.
So I needed a dress for a wedding and this is what I asked for… corset-style like this… but with long sleeves,” she wrote.
However, in the following photo, she showed off the gown she received in the post, which was gold, ill-fitting, and completely unrecognizable from the original image.
“This keeps happening to me,” she wrote alongside the video. “I require the services of a personal stylist.”
And the seamstress’s efforts amused social media users.
Reactions.
“You got a curtain,” one of them joked.
A second person added: “Oh my goodness! She cheated on you. I made this exact style with long sleeves as well, but with a different stylist.”
Another simply wrote, “Oh my.”
Meanwhile, a fourth commented, “Goodness gracious,” and a fifth, “I would faint.”
