“We will curse the military for beating us without any proper course” – Ashaiman MP
Ernest Henry Norgbey, member of parliament for the Ashaiman Constituency, has finally held heart-to-heart meetings with survivors of the Ashaiman Military Invasion.
Mr. Norgbey, while offering consolation and assistance to the sufferer, has committed to fight for justice for the men and women brutalized by the invasion.
“As your leader, as an MP, we are going to fight for justice for you, and don’t expect anybody to act contrary to what we are going to fight for you.
He also issued a fair warning to victims not to take the law into their own hands, despite the fact that they were not at fault for being exposed to such abuse.
“I can tell you and assure you that we are making a frank effort for justice to come and we are asking for compensation as well… if all fails that is when we might be heading to the court and shrine to petition them…”
