We Live In Constant Fear Of Men – Genevieve Nnaji Reacts To Killings Of Two Nigerian Females
Popular Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji has reacted to the unfortunate and gruesome killing of two females in Nigeria within a space of about three days.
Recently in Nigeria, A young girl with the name Tina Ezekwe who is just 16 years of age was shot and killed by a drunk Policeman. In the cause of the same week, another female death incident occurred in Nigeria, this time Uwa Omozua who was raped and killed at church premises.
This caused an uproar on social media as people react to the incident calling out to seek justice for these girls. among the reacters is Nigeria’s most loved movie star Genevieve Nnaji.
Reacting to the incident, Genevieve Nnaji Tweeted, “They either abuse their power or have the power to abuse. In or out of uniform, we live in constant fear of men. Tina Ezekwe. Vera Omozuwa. Rest In Peace my darlings. We will get justice”.
Her comments hit some men on social media hard since she generalized it to all men. this caused many of them to expressed their disappointment at the actress’s attempt to lay the blame on the shoulders of all men.
