Eno Barony, one of Ghana’s most badass female rappers, has said unequivocally that she is not in the music industry to compete with anybody.

Eno Barony said in an interview with 3FM that the days of battling on the rap floor to grab attention were long gone.

Fortunately for her, her hard work has paid off, and she is now employed as a full-time musician.

When a rapper is fresh to the game, Eno Barony, born Ruth Eno Adjoa Amankwah Nyame Adom, stated that rap fights are vital.

She emphasized that it allows people to demonstrate their God-given abilities.

“I am not here to compete. I am here to eat. Coming out, we are all struggling to be seen and to get to the top. But now that it is a career. I am not here to fight. I am not a boxer. I am here to do music.” she stated.

Eno said she would improved her rapping skills over time.

She explained that she wanted to add some softness to her rigid bars. However, with her latest album, she discusses love and singing in order to appeal to a larger audience.

The VGMA’s have nominated Eno Barony in four categories. Best Rapper, Best Hip-hop, Best Hiplife/Hip-hop Artiste of the Year, and Best Hiplife Song are among her nominees.

‘God is a Woman,’ a new single by the rapper, is also available. She invited all of her followers to listen to her songs on all platforms.
