A video of a young girl creating a scene after spotting a pressure cooker on fire has elicited mixed emotions.
The young girl, who is said to be a village girl, screamed an alarm in Yoruba, drawing a woman’s attention to what the pot was doing.
A pressure cooker is a sealed pot that uses steam heat to fast cook food and emits a hissing sound owing to its safety release valve. It also emits steam to keep the pressure at a safe level.
The woman in the background enquired in Yoruba about who set the pot on fire, and it was determined that it was done by the girl.
