Naa Adjeley, a Ghanaian actress, has revealed that some actresses consult spirits (juju) for fame and prosperity.
She said that she was approached to do the same by two top Ghanaian actresses, but she declined.
The ‘Crime to Crist’ actress claimed on SVTV Africa with DJ Nyaami that she did not accept their offer because she believes that ‘Satan does not gift freely.’ She might be unable to pay the price for fame.
“I recall some ladies approaching me. They are well-known. They told me I was talented and that they could take me somewhere to make me famous. But I didn’t do it, and I’m not going to do it again,” she admitted.
Naa also explained why she declined the offer.
“It is said that Satan does not give freely. What if he later requests that I sacrifice my mother? I can’t do it because I love my family. Even if they ask for a strand of my hair, I will not deliver it. “I am unable to comply with the terms and conditions,” she stated.
Adjeley also discussed her experience as a plus-size actor and how some directors dismiss her.
Naa sells kenkey and operates a business in addition to acting.
