Rev. Obofour, one of Ghana’s most controversial men of God and the founder of the APC International Church, has provided food for thought on the subject of wealthy individuals in the country.
According to the man of God, most wealthy individuals are unwilling to provide financial assistance to poor young people who have brilliant ideas.
Rev. Obofour explained that most wealthy men in Ghana are self-centered and will not assist young, impoverished people with brilliant ideas unless they receive a share of the profits.
To put it another way, he says:
A wealthy individual will not invest in your idea unless he stands to gain a significant portion of the profits. If you have a great idea that has the potential to change the lives of many people and you approach a wealthy individual about investing in it, he will tell you that he wants to own 60% of the company.
However, in most cases, he will not invest in it, and when he does, he will either find a mischievous way to kick you out and seize complete control, or he will cause it to collapse, causing you to suffer a significant loss.
If you have a brilliant idea, never seek assistance from a wealthy Ghanaian businessman. He is going to let you down. Obofour made this statement in the video.
