Ohemaa Jacky, a Ghanaian gospel singer, and her partner were detained in Benin while attempting to go overseas.
The artist, who is facing fraud and forgery accusations in Ghana, rejected her release terms and fled to Benin in order to avoid his Ghana court case.
She and her partner manufactured a phony passport and other travel credentials, but the Benin authorities discovered the documents were fraudulent at their airport.
According to Ogyam, who was a victim of Ohemaa Jacky’s travel fraud scam, the artist and her partner are facing a 2-year prison sentence.
He also revealed his story with another lady in Togo prison after being stopped by Togo immigration police while using Togo Airport to fly to Europe.
