In a popular social media video, two ladies can be seen making a significant quantity of the Ghanaian delicacy banku, which has sparked concern among many netizens since they cooked the banku using sachet water.
In the strange footage, one lady can be seen swirling chunks of sachet water into the banku they were preparing.
The casualness with which they performed the deed indicates that it is something they do frequently.
Some viewers who saw the video were familiar with the act and stated that the method is used to keep the banku from burning.
