Video: ‘Keep on eating your trυmυ because the system doesn’t favor musicians’ – Shatta Wale to LGBT people
Shatta Wale has urged Ghana’s LGBTQ+ community to enjoy their life and forget about the government because the system is broken.
That no one should sit on their freedom, he informed KalyJay on Twitter Spaces on Friday night.
“A lot of things aren’t working in our country,” he stated before supporting them. “I want to tell Ghana that it is a free world. The country will not know where to stand if we don’t know how to fight for our rights.”
He stated that the world is evolving and that everyone should be allowed to live their lives fully.
“I have lesbian and homosexual fans. I adore gays. I was recently [inaudible] by gays. ‘This guy is my bestie,’ I thought. Do you get it? I am not picky. I feel enraged when our leaders visit abroad and everything is fine.”
Then we want to go to Europe and America.
The world evolves. Nobody’s freedom should be sat on. So when I do something wrong and people condemn me, I think ‘yo, I want to be free.’”
So he advised gays to pursue their lives, noting that the system doesn’t even favour musicians.
“It’s the government’s fault if they can’t decide on the anti-LGBTQ+ measure. Every homosexual or lesbian in the world should feel free and enjoy their lives. Play some nice music. He adores you. The system is unimportant. The system isn’t helping musicians.”
