Bernice Abukari, a young actress, claims that friends set her up to be rᾶped on her 18th birthday.
Bernice told SVTV Africa about her experience, saying she went to a female friend’s house where a mutual acquaintance was also present.
“My friend and her companion said they were going to get something, but they didn’t come back until the next morning.” They didn’t tell me that the guy was supposed to treat me badly.
He closed the door shortly after they left. I attempted to fight him but was too weak, and he rᾶped me. “When I confronted my friend later, she claimed she had no idea I was a virgin,” Bernice explained.
She went on to say that she couldn’t tell her parents about it, but her mother did learn about it and reported it.
“I couldn’t testify against him because I couldn’t bear it, even though I despised him.” “I didn’t want him to be in prison for that long,” she explained.
