Video evidence of Bugri Naabu and other Police officers plotting to remove IGP Dampare surfaces online – Watch
A fresh development has emerged in relation to the attempt by some police officers to depose the present Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare.
Previously, an audio recording of their secret chat appeared on social media, prompting a committee to investigate the situation.
During his time with the commissioner, Commissioner Mensah, who is on vacation before retirement, told them that the audio he was reliably informed was done on the orders of IGP Dampare.
He informed the committee that the IGP had the whole audio conversation and that if they required the full audio, they should call him.
When Chief Bugri Naabu went before the committee, he was asked if there was a video of their meeting, to which he replied that there wasn’t.
However, a video of their chat has surfaced on social media.
The video shows the police officer plotting how to depose IGP Dampare and replace him as head of the Ghana Police Service.
The committee has yet to complete its inquiry and make its conclusions public.
