Brother Sammy’s wife angrily disputed reports that she had divorced her husband during a live phone-in conversation on KofiTV.
She also defended her husband’s comments about losing interest in sleeping with her, claiming that such remarks were not made in jest.
Previously, after Brother Sammy revealed on UTV’s United Showbiz that he can no longer sleep with his wife, his ‘head was placed on a chopping board’ by a slew of Ghanaians who branded such remarks as nasty and disrespectful.
Also, a woman claiming to be a friend of Brother Sammy’s wife claimed that the gospel singer was divorced 4 months ago in a viral recording.
In an interview with KofiTV, Brother Sammy’s wife addressed the issues for the first time, saying:
“Because my husband has never turned his back on me, I didn’t interpret what happened negatively. We’ve been married for nearly a decade.
I was astonished when I heard the tape that was making the rounds on social media because I don’t have any pals. The person is not a friend of mine, and I have no idea who is behind it. Some of them called me to say they wanted to fight for me, but I refused.”
She also verified her husband’s assertions that a former houseboy named Solomon attempted to demolish their home.
Solomon once accused her husband of cheating on her and labeled him an occult, according to Brother Sammy’s wife.
“My husband brought in women to our matrimonial home when I was in the hospital,” the boy said. I didn’t want to believe it, but the boy insisted, threatening to provide evidence if I didn’t. Even if I hadn’t been strong, I would have left my husband for him if he had made overtures toward me. He even exposed his penis in front of me at one point.”
Brother Sammy’s wife, who is on the verge of mending her marriage, said she has learned some important lessons from all of this.
“I’ve heard a lot of people say that if you’re married, you shouldn’t listen to third parties. Because there’s nowhere cool to go, it’s best if you trust your partner and keep your ears closed to anything negative.”
