Ghanaian actress and the wife of Konkonsah blogger, Victoria Lebene, humiliated herself horribly in an attempt to speak in a foreign accent she had never had before.
In an interview with Sammy Kay, the actress was asked about her personal relationships with Nkonkonsa and Kofi Adjorlolo. Lebene explained her relationship with both men in heavily accented English.
In fact, because it was not her natural way of speaking, she ended up upsetting the queen by using her language. According to Victoria Lebene, Nkonkonsa and her dated for three and a half years before marrying.
Sammy Kay was as surprised as everyone else when she announced her marriage not long after news of her dating Nkonkonsa became public.
When he asked if she dated Nkonkonsa while she was with Adjorlolo, she had no good answer.
The interviewer enquired further, asking Lebene if she had ever dated Adjorlolo or if the whole thing was a publicity stunt.
She stated that she had no idea! She made some outrageous remarks, but they weren’t as annoying as her over-the-top impersonation of a British accent.
